and the Internet, the Annual Memorial Day Observance at
the Vietnam Veterans Memorial beginning at 12 Noon ET on
Memorial Day, Monday, May 26, 2003 and
will feature. Nancy Sinatra, who entertained the U.S. troops
in Vietnam in 1967 and 1968, will perform at 12:15 PM ET.
The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, the non-profit organization
established in 1979 to build the Vietnam Memorial, is grateful

their support this year in covering the Memorial Day Ceremony.

and their families are expected to attend the Ceremony at
the Vietnam Veterans Memorial this year. TV Worldwide’s
simulcast will feature a keynote address from Retired Army
Brig. Gen. David L. Grange, Executive Vice President and
Chief Operating Officer of the Robert R. McCormick Tribune
Foundation. Other featured speakers include: Bonnie Carroll,
Deputy White House Liaison, Department of Veterans Affairs;
and Gentry Davis, Deputy Regional Director, National Capital
Region, National Park Service. Vietnam Veterans of America
National President Thomas H. Corey will lead the Pledge
of Allegiance. Memorial Fund founder Jan Scruggs will serve
as the Master of Ceremonies.
