The
Pentagon Quilts: An Exhibition of Tribute and
Remembrance, opened at the Women In Military Service
For America Memorial in Arlington, Virginia, on
September 10. The exhibit, sponsored by Concurrent
Technologies Corporation and CTC Foundation, showcases
the quilts and tells the story of their journey
to the Pentagon from across the nation and around
the world after the attacks. Concurrent Technologies
Corporation and CTC Foundation also co-sponsored
an exhibit preview and reception the evening of
September 9 at which the Deputy Secretary of Defense
and other government officials participated.
The
CTC Foundation and CTC held a similar Reception
and sponsored the exhibition of a dozen Pentagon
Quilts last September at the Ronald Reagan Building
and International Trade Center in Washington,
DC.

This
Exhibition at the Women In Military Service For
America Memorial, at the ceremonial entrance to
Arlington National Cemetery, will feature over
one hundred Pentagon Quilts. By surprise, these
Quilts were directed to the Pentagon by school
children and grandparents as an outpouring of
emotion after the September 11th event; each quilt
is beautifully thoughtful and uniquely patriotic.
The CTC Foundation is honored to be associated
again with them.
